Light is planned, not placed.
Lighting fails in predictable ways: LEDs that buzz on the wrong dimmer, five unmarked switches by the front door, and a patio running off a completely separate system. As a certified Lutron installer, Eric specs the fixtures and the control system together — Caséta, RA3, or HomeWorks — wires the loads by scene, and sets the levels on site at night with you standing there.

How the work runs
Four steps, every time.
The scope changes from job to job. The sequence does not, so you always know what happens next and what it depends on.
- Read the architecture
Ceiling heights, materials, glazing, and sightlines set where light should land before any fixture is chosen.
- Specify fixtures and control
Lamping, color temperature, dimming protocol, and the Lutron system tier are selected as one package.
- Wire for the system
Loads are grouped for scenes, keypads are placed on the paths people actually walk, and neutrals go everywhere.
- Tune the scenes
After trim, we set levels on site at night with you present, then label keypads and leave the programming documented.
